Elegant Emerald

November 20th, 2009

Don’t let the lack of updates fool you; Annabelle’s Creations has been hard at work coming up with delightful designs for every occasion.

One of my favourite albums from Annabelle this year has been Holiday Celebrations.  The designs are warm, inviting and stylish!  The card that first drew my eye was the lovely ornate black and green design featured below.  The touch of green adds just enough holiday spirit to the classic cool of black and white.

National Stationery Show Recap

June 2nd, 2009

The 2009 National Stationery Show was, as always, a fun and fabulous event.  We had such a blast mingling with other stationers and getting to know some of our new neighbors.  Of course, the best part of the stationery show is taking the time to meet our retailers and fannabelles!

Knowing that not all of our customers and friends were able to make it to New York, we thought we would share a selection of images from the show.

Annabelle\'s Creations at the 2009 National Stationery Show

The booth reflected the fun colors of our logo and was punctuated with pops of pink, purple and lime.  The brilliant wall blossoms were custom made and handpainted to coordinate with the booth and materials.  I really enjoyed the frames and noteboards that served to showcase new products, customer compliments and industry awards and recognition – pretty and practical!

Pretty plaids and icy blues were popular choices for baby stationery and photo cards

We were touched by the retailer response to our newest albums: Everyday Beginings and Holiday Celebrations.  Both new and existing retailers seemed particularly pleased with the high level of customization and coordination available across both albums.

To cap off a whirlwind show, we received an Honorable Mention at the 2008 Louie Awards ceremony for Personalized Invitation/Announcement!  We were truly honored to have been considered amongst such talented colleagues.  Congratulations to all nominees and a heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this year a success for Annabelle’s Creations!

Stylish, Sophisticated and NEW for Spring 2009

May 14th, 2009

As we gear up for this year’s National Stationery Show, we can’t help but feel the electric in the air. This year’s releases have taken a tremendous amount of study, talent and coordination.  We’ve taken a cue from our creative customers and the latest runway fashions. Our most recent collections from feature artful argyles, perfect paisleys, sophisticated stripes and dazzling damasks available in a variety of haute hues. We are incredibly pleased to be bringing these albums, Everyday Beginnings and Holiday Celebrations, to the show.  Please stop by and see us in booth #1734 at the National Stationery Show, Jacob Javits Convention Center, New York City.

We realize that, for many of our retailers, it isn’t possible to make every show. At Annabelle’s Creations, we are all about providing that extra level of customer service, so we have decided to bring the albums to you! We have published both our Everyday Beginnings and Holiday Celebrations albums online for you to peruse. Simply click the name of the album you wish to view and you will be taken to our album page on Issuu.

We’ve also created a special slide show for our readers and retailers alike.  We hope you enjoy the new designs.  Please feel free to leave us your feedback or send an email to us at info@annabellescreations.com.

Geometry Lessons

March 30th, 2009

For Fall 2009, popular color-block prints give way to dazzling diamonds.  Whether in traditional harlequin or forming natural abstracts, these crystalline creations reinforce the adage that diamonds are always a girl’s best friend.

Spring Style: Orange and Pink

February 27th, 2009

Hello, my name is Kati Driscoll and I’m excited to announce that I will be covering trends in the stationery industry and related topics for Annabelle’s Creations!  When Annabelle approached me to come on board, I couldn’t help but leap at the chance to indulge my passion for paper.

For my first post, I thought I’d cover a trend that has been blooming in fashion: pretty pinks and brilliant oranges.  This citrusy color combination, paired with delicate florals is refreshing and inspiring – a herald of the warm weather that is on its way.

Sick, work and the art of being in a circus

February 23rd, 2009

This past week was quite interesting.  I was home sick with bronchitis, fever, sinus infection and what the doctor was calling “a touch of the flu”.  I am not sure what a touch is but I had been touched.  I NEVER go to the doctor so the fact that I paid a visit 3x this past week should have been a very good indicator to those around me that I MUST really be sick.  I couldn’t do much of anything – not even speak. I am sure my husband was ok with that.  Orders and work piled up and I did what I could and the girls helped to try to keep me”somewhat on track”.  I never thought I was much of one to juggle, but I think I can now and I think I am pretty good – it’s been quite a circus around here.

I juggle, being sick, work, the kids, the house the husband and nothing “dropped”. Rest! everyone says…but the little rest I got is now being consumed with playing catch up.

Fashion week just ended and I found it to be quite inspiring – stay tuned to see what I dreamed up while lying sick – I mean while juggling.

Be well everyone and check back often as our “blog” will soon be updated with a much BETTER and interesting writer!

holiday season . . .and stuff

November 15th, 2008

well the holiday season is among us…well as far as holiday photo cards are concerned anyway.  we are so excited - our cards are doing well and we enjoying n at all the family photos that are chosen for our cards.  we’ve added Annabelle’s Creations to face book.  it’s a world of it’s own and I am amazed daily of the network of friends and people I have met through it.  unfortunately i haven’t had as much time as i’d like to devote to it but the little bit i have is spent having fun using it.

my son daniel has spent all day today making cards. (hmm…where does he get that from?)  they are not the cards you would imagine though.  we are going to a GIANTS game tomorrow and he has made cards for us to hold up in support of our team. ;o) i hope they win as it’s their first football game….so GO GIANTS!!! and go Daniel and your creativity….
